Container Desiccant

The products are used to protect cargoes ranging from steel coil, machinery and all kinds of consumer goods, to withdraw moisture containing difficult cargoes of paper, wood products and agricultural commodities.

- Units needed: For most cargoes 6- 12 bags in a 20ft container (12 – 24 bags in a 40ft container) is required, depending on the length of the voyage and the range of temperatures encountered. In the case of moist cargo or extreme voyage conditions additional bags may be required.
USAGE
1. Container checking:
- Please check the container for any damage aready came before
Container doors must be tightly closed and the rubber seal must be in good condition
- It must be highly dry and clean before cargo loading
2. Container flooring moist checking：
- Do not use the container whose wood moisture value exceeds 20%, it will increase the risk of wet. If can not add more desiccants.
- Do not use the container whose wood humidity over 25%.
3. Seal all holes.
4. Take out the container desiccant from the sealed plastic bag.
5. Hanging the bag hool with tape affixed to the lower end on the inner wall.
6. Keep the distance between goods and desiccant to 5-10CM, do not cover the surface of the desiccant, and let the desiccant contact with air, so as not to affect the absorption effect. The volume of the desiccant will be increased after absorption, therefore requires appropriated space.
7. Close the container door.
8. Can be directly hung, easy to operate.

Then it started to become a gel and continue to absorb moisture. Water absorption is retained due to the presence of a special adhesive gel additive, packaged inside Tyvek bag (1 non-woven fabrics, 1 side absorb), thus preventing leakage.
HLC desiccant are available of 5grs, 10grs, 50grs, 100grs, 250gr, 500gr 1kg, 2kg, 3kg ... size and weight can be customized according to your specific requirements.
No obstruction of the container space.

Highly hygroscopic
HLC, powder desiccant dehumidifier capable of more than 150 % of its own weight. (For example: 1kg bag will obtain the full weight to 2.5kgs) and hygroscopic prolonged time to 2 months, to ensure the safety of your goods during transport. While silica gel or Clay (clay) is hygroscopic type most commonly used on the market today are usually only up to a maximum of 25 % of its weight.
So, with HLC, you only need to use fewer numbers and less than 60 % compared to any other desiccant (as Clay , silica gel ...), which would save your cost beside the above advantages.
